Quality in Tourism We're at the table

Every Wednesday evening all year round from 9.00 pm
Even we don't know how long this has been going. In fact it's now as traditional as much of the music you'll hear from The Boscastle Busker and many of the other regulars. Singers and listeners are both welcome and anyone can join in. Just come along and take part.

The first Monday of every month starting at 8.00pm
Come and enter a team - maximum team of 4 with a £2.00 donation per player to the charity of the evening.  Prizes for the winning team. Regular "Curry and a pint" offers.

Boscastle is located in one of the best and most beautiful walking districts in the country. The Wellington Hotel is surrounded by National Trust coastline through which the famous Cornish coastal path runs. Walkers, their muddy boots and their dogs are welcome at the Wellington.

Plenty of single and twin rooms, packed lunches and drying facilities are all available. Local maps, luggage transfers and guided walks can be arranged if needed. Boscastle even has its own Walking Week and more details on this can be found on www.boscastlefestival.co.uk

Whether individual or groups, walkers are welcome all year round. From October to May, we are able to provide competitive dinner, bed & breakfast packages for walking groups staying at least two nights. Please contact us for further information and prices.

Some useful links include The South West Coast Path Association and Luggage Transfers

North Cornwall is famous for its links golf as well as its inland courses. Boscastle and The Wellington Hotel are ideally located to enjoy these. Through our association with Out To Play Golf, we are also able to provide discount vouchers for the majority of courses in Cornwall. Click www.outtoplaygolf.com  for more details.

Within 45 minutes drive are Bude & North Cornwall, Bowood, Roserrow and Perranporth Golf Clubs, all of which can provide an exciting challenge on a windy day. For the more experienced golfer armed with an up to date handicap certificate, St Enodoc and Trevose Golf Clubs are within a short drive.

After an enjoyable day golfing, you can return to The Wellington for a drink in the Long Bar followed by dinner in our restaurant. Golfers are welcome througout the year at The Wellington and we have some great deal for groups between October and May. Give us a ring or send us an email for more details.

We think that it is best to make your tee reservations direct with the Golf Clubs. However, if you need any help or would like transport to the Golf Clubs, we will happily arrange this.

Boscastle has two fantastic festivals - a walking week in April and a Food & Drink festival in October. For full details of these events and to see the famous chefs that will be at the Food & Drink festival, visit www.boscastlefestival.co.uk

Although there is no beach in Boscastle, many of North Cornwall’s beautiful beaches are within easy reach. Trebarwith Strand and Polzeath are two of the better known beaches for excellent surfing.

We hope that you will stay to enjoy meals at both our Long Bar and Waterloo restaurant. However, if you are staying with us for a while, there are many places to eat within a short drive. North Cornwall is well known for its cuisine with famous restaurants run by Rick Stein, Jamie Oliver and Nathan Outlaw all close by.

First Sunday in the month during the winter months from 3.30 pm
Our Sunday Sessions bring a great selection of live music completely free of charge with a host of original, lesser known and one or two old popular songs and tunes. Singers and players (and anything else) are welcome to perform. Regular musicians are always on hand to help out if required including acoustic, a bit of electric, drums, bass etc. The resident band takes many forms depending on who's there that week.
