Bedrooms

The Wellington has 14 rooms, either with en-suite bath or en-suite shower. All rooms have TV’s and direct dial telephones and there is wi-fi internet access running throughout the hotel. Mineral water, Fairtrade tea and coffee and tempting Cornish biscuits together with the necessary equipment to make hot drinks are available in every room. Superior rooms are supplied with luxury bathrobes.

We have four types of room:

Standard - single, twin or double
Superior - Twin or double
Turret - double
Family Suite - Double plus connected bunk bed room

The two Turret Rooms are named after previous well known guests that have stayed at the Hotel. The upper Turret room is the Guy Gibson room, named after Guy Gibson VC of "Dam Busters" fame, who states in his book that the Wellington was his “favourite hostelry”. The lower Turret room is the Thomas Hardy room, named after the famous English novelist and poet.
