The Wellington has a long history of offering fine accommodation, food and drink. If you choose to stay with us, our 14 bedrooms are traditional yet equipped to meet the needs of the modern world. In the morning, you can wake up to a leisurely Cornish breakfast before a refreshing walk through the harbour and along the coastal cliff path. You can take afternoon tea or just unwind with a good book in our Lounge. Whether you are staying or just visiting, you can enjoy home cooked food, Cornish real ales or a glass of wine in the Long Bar, while relaxing next to the open fire. In the evening, our restaurant, recently redecorated to reflect the true splendour of a Georgian dining room, offers gourmet food and fine wines.
As our food is prepared and cooked daily at the Hotel from fresh local ingredients, we can also cater for those on special diets such as vegetarian or gluten free.
The Wellington has been awarded 3 Stars by both Visit England and the AA and The Waterloo Restaurant has been awarded 2 AA Rosettes.
