The two luxurious Turret Rooms are named after previous well known guests that have stayed at our Cornish Hotel. The upper Turret room is the Guy Gibson room, named after Guy Gibson VC of “Dam Busters” fame, who states in his book that the Wellington was his “favourite hostelry”. The lower Turret room is the Thomas Hardy room, named after the famous English novelist and poet who spent many years in Boscastle and North Cornwall, often staying at The Wellington Hotel.
